Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies to all information and data that Media Çalışmaları LLC (the “Administration”) may obtain about a user of the global Internet (the “User”) who uses the “BAX.TV” service, including the Site.

By using BAX.TV the User agrees to the Policy and to the terms it sets out for processing the User's personal data.

If the User does not agree to the terms of this Policy, the User must stop using BAX.TV, including the Site.

1. Personal information about the User that BAX.TV receives and uses

1.1. For the purposes of this Policy, the “User's personal information” means:

1.1.1. The personal data the User provides when registering on the site (creating an account).

Information that is specifically marked and must be provided includes:

  • the user name;
  • the User's working e-mail address;
  • agreement to the terms of the User Agreement and the Privacy Policy.

Optional information includes:

  • an avatar (the picture the user places next to their nickname);
  • the user name on the site (nickname);
  • gender;
  • date of birth.

1.1.2. Data transmitted to BAX.TV automatically by the software installed on the User's device, including the IP address (the unique number of the User's computer), information from cookies (to identify the User's browser, keep the User's settings and other data), information about the User's browser (or other program used to access BAX.TV), the time of access and the address of the page opened.

1.2. This Policy applies to BAX.TV only. BAX.TV does not control the User's visits to third-party sites through links and is not responsible for the use of information provided by the User on third-party sites.

1.3. The Administration assumes that the User provides accurate and up-to-date information; it does not verify the accuracy of the information provided by the User and does not monitor the User's activity.

2. Purposes of collecting and using Users' personal data

2.1. BAX.TV collects and keeps only the personal data of the User that is needed to provide the service (to perform agreements and contracts with the User).

2.2. BAX.TV may use the User's personal information for the following purposes:

2.2.1. identifying the party under an agreement with BAX.TV;

2.2.2. communicating by sending notices, requests and information about the use of BAX.TV, and handling the User's requests and enquiries and providing services;

2.2.3. providing personalised services to the User;

2.2.4. improving the overall quality and functionality of BAX.TV's existing services and developing new services for the user;

2.2.5. targeting advertising materials and content;

2.2.6. carrying out statistical and other research based on the data.

2.3. Where the User's personal data needs to be used for purposes not listed in this Policy, BAX.TV asks the User for permission and consent in advance.

3. Terms of processing the User's personal data and passing it to third parties

3.1. BAX.TV processes the User's personal data in accordance with the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

3.2. Personal data is kept confidential, except where the User has made the information publicly available.

3.3. BAX.TV is entitled to pass the User's personal data to third parties in the following cases:

3.3.1. the User has consented to it;

3.3.2. passing the data is necessary to provide the service to the User;

3.3.4. passing the data is necessary to comply with the current law of the Republic of Azerbaijan (including to warn the User or to prevent the User's unlawful actions or actions contrary to legal norms). Information provided by the User may be disclosed only in accordance with the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan — at the request of a court or law enforcement authorities, and in other cases provided for by the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

4. Changes to personal information by the User

4.1. The User may at any time change or add to the information provided, or part of it, using the edit function in the profile section;

4.2. The User may also delete their registration at any time using the “Delete account” function.

5. Measures taken to protect Users' personal data

5.1. BAX.TV takes the necessary technical measures to protect the User's personal data from unlawful access, destruction, alteration, blocking, copying and distribution, and from other unlawful use of this information by third parties.

5.2. The Administration gives access to the User's personal data only to those administration staff, contractors and partners who need this information to run the site, improve its quality and provide services to the User.

This policy applies to the BAX.TV site only.

BAX.TV does not control and is not responsible for third-party sites and services that the User visits through links, or for the content of those resources.

Any changes to the Policy take effect when its new version is published on the site. The User's use of BAX.TV after a new version of the Policy is published means that the User agrees to the changes. If the User does not agree to the changes that have taken effect, the User must stop using BAX.TV and delete their account. This Policy is governed by the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan. All disputes concerning the Policy are resolved under the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan by the court at the Administration's location.
